The
customer moved this machine from their German plant and
reinstalled it at their Alabama plant. The machine was
custom built by Fooke (A German machine manufacturer)
for this particular customer’s product. The machine
is controlled by 2 Siemens 840C CNC systems and a Siemens
S7 PLC. The customer used an offline PC to create special
the programs required to machine their product. |

Control Services removed
the PC from the operation and created a new user graphical
interface on the 840C CNC control system. This allowed
the users to fully create a program for each product old
and new without having to know anything about ISO part
programming. Extra machining routines were also added
creating greater flexibility. |
